Environmental Management
Learn to manage environmental impact, get help embedding it, and have it audited
Environmental impact managed where the work is done
Carry the judgement into the work: which aspects matter and why, operational control that reaches the people doing the job, and emergency arrangements that have been drilled rather than written. ISO 14001 is one frame for holding them together.
Overview
Environmental data now has an external audience
Environmental management changed audience before it changed method. The same emissions and waste figures that were an internal metric are now expected to survive external assurance, and a system built to keep permits in order is not automatically a system that can produce reportable data.
The operating side of an environmental management system (EMS) has moved less: significant aspects, legal obligations, objectives and the evidence that they are being met. The pressure comes from what sits around it, where a claim made in a report has to be traceable to something the system actually records.
Professional tracks
Build role-specific expertise
All tracks →Halderstone tracks follow a modular structure. They first establish a strong, role-specific foundation across disciplines, which is then applied to the chosen discipline.
Training modules
Deepen your expertise
All modules →Each module can be taken on its own and trains the calls a practitioner has to make without being prompted. These are the modules that teach this discipline; the cross-discipline core that every track shares is in the catalogue.

Audit
Assess your EMS
Learn more →An EMS audit looks past compliance to effect: whether the significant aspects drive the objectives, whether operational control changes what happens on site, and whether the reviews would catch a drift before someone outside does.
