Overview
What a track is
A track is a sequence of self-contained modules plus two things a single module cannot give you: a capstone engagement, where you design and defend a whole management system, and a final examination that tests judgement under time. Everything is self-paced (no cohorts, no intake dates), and you take the modules in whatever order your work makes useful.
Most of a track is not about its standard. The core modules train the management-system judgement every discipline shares, and are the same for every track in the same role. Complete them once and they are never repeated, never re-assessed and never paid for twice, which is what makes a second discipline short.
Every track awards two credentials
A diploma for the core: the cross-disciplinary foundation, reusable towards any further track in the same role.
A specialisation credential for the discipline itself, awarded after the capstone and the exam.
Both are issued without expiry and are verifiable from a public record.
Manager tracks
Qualify to run a management system
You own a management system, or are about to. These tracks train scope, risk ownership, governance, control, review and improvement as management work first, then apply them to your standard.
All 6 share the same 19 core modules, so a second discipline is only its specialisation modules, a capstone and an exam.
Auditor tracks
Qualify to audit management systems
You audit other people's systems: internally, as a supplier assessor, or on behalf of a certification body. These tracks train evidence, sampling, interviewing and reporting, then apply them to your standard.
All 6 share the same 17 core modules, so a second discipline is only its specialisation modules, a capstone and an exam.
Not sure a track is the right shape
You can start with one module and decide later
Every module in every track is also sold on its own, in the same graded form. If you join a track afterwards, anything you already hold is credited against the track price in full, whenever you bought it. Nothing is repeated and nothing is paid for twice, so starting small costs you nothing but time.
